It's been awhile...

Yeah, yeah I know it has been forever since I blogged! But my life has been beyond crazy. The last month of school was absolutely crazy, I never had time and once summer began I have had hardly any alone time. So I lay here at 10:53 at night in my bed with eat buds in blaring my favorite country song, and now here I am. Considering I'm on my phone I can almost promise there will be some spelling errors.

Well I am going to start at the first of my summer. The very first week my awesome parents planned a trip to San Francisco for me and my littlest brother while Branson and Chase were in Washington with their school. It was such an amazing trip, after such a crazy school year it's exactly what I needed. We did so many fun things. We did a tour of Alcatraz and that was so cool!! We laughed a lot and we even rode bikes across the Golden Gate Bridge!! It was a trip I will never forget.

(I can't upload pictures so bare with me here)

When we got home from our trip we spent a lot of time with family. We had a little speed bump in the road and our lives were tested. My cousins darling little boys life was taken from him. Chanse was such an amazing little boy and did not deserve to leave so early, but he is in heaven right where he belongs. He was such a special boy that our Heavenly Father asked for him home too soon. We love and miss him everyday. But through this experience I learned some very valuable lessons. As we went through this tragic time, though many tears were shred it brought my cousin Liz and I very close. Liz is going to be in the 4th grade and ever since the day she was born she has been my best friend. We have a relationship impossible to explain!! The love I have for Liz is the same love Liz had for chanse. Watching her go through this experience broke my heart. Her cries left me speechless, heck I'm crying just thinking about it. I watched Liz grow so much over that week of saying good-bye to her little brother. She was so strong, she loved him so much. I learned that it doesn't matter what life throws our way we will always find a way to find happiness even in the darkest days. I learned it's okay to be mad. And I learned that in hard situations you are never alone. I am grateful for my life and all the events that have happened because they have made me very strong.

After that hard time I had a very last minute chance to attend girls camp. And I knew that's where I needed to be. I had such a great time and I'm so glad I went!! It is exactly what I needed after the hard weeks before.

When I got him from girls camp my brother Chase and I headed to Arizona with my aunt Cami and cousins Liz and Nick!! We had so much fun being with family I hadn't seen in a very long time!! We did enough swimming to last me a long time, but we made so many great memories!

Now here I am, got home about three weeks ago and I'm working! So that's been my summer so far, I promise ill get better about blogging.

Spring Break Part 2

The rest of my spring break was one to remember! I had an amazing week of being with my brothers, eating food, and missing my friends. I'm pretty sure my parents thought I was in depression mode. I hung out with NO ONE... I think it freaked my dad out a little bit, but he got over it!

Thursday
I woke up to go to school.. Not the kid of shcool you'd think, I went all the way back to preschool. For my Computer Technology class we had to do a job shadow, so I went to school with Drevin. I have a lot of fun actually. It was cool to see Dreving play with all of his friends! He was so sweet to everyone, when we first got there we were playing with buiding blocks and this little boy was in the corner crying. Drevin walked over to the kid, and asked if he was okay. The kid was older than Drev but he was sure shorther than him. Drevin was bent over with his hand on his knees while talking to him. The kid has a big heart! The main teacher asked me if I was comfortable teaching a class, and I said yes. When I was helping the other kids with the activity Drevin was getting really freaked out and jealous. He cracks me up. Amy came and picked us up and we finished off the day at chick-fil-a.
My day didn't end there though. My mom called me and asked if I wanted to go see Olymus has Fallen with her and my brother. Who is going to turn down a movie? Not me! It was a really good one, and we also did our first double header at the movie theater ever. Well lie my mom had done it, but it was a first to me. We left the movies dropped by taco bell to grab something to eat, and made our way back. We went and saw The Host right afterward! It was pretty good as well, it was nice to end on a settler note. Not so violent!
Drev would only play with the girls, and they think he is pretty cute. We are in trouble when he gets older!

Friday
We did NOTHING!! I cleaned my grandpas bathroom and that is it... But we did discuss leaving for the sandunes the next morning!

Saturday
After a long morning of deciding, we left for the dunes! It was me, my mom, and chase. We threw stuff in the car and we went. Though we didn't take much to eat, and nearly starved to death it was the best weekend ever! We laughed a lot, it was warm and only a little windy, and I got to do my all time favorite thing. RIDE! I went up sand mountain for the 2nd time, and I was more nervous this time. We pulled up and I hadn't been on the bike at all. I wasn't ever sure if I remembered how to ride. But my uncle said "you'll be just fine." So, I went up it, and it was still just as fun. I went on my first night ride, one word. SCARY! I have never been so nervous and so relaxed at the same time. It is a feeling that is impossible to explain. I love being in the sand and the the sound of the bikes nearly stops my heart. It is in my blood!
Sorry for my lack of pictures, I wasn't thinking

Sunday
We came home, washed the car, and ate, and ate, and ate some more. We were starving! But it was an amazing spring break and it's one ill never forget!

Stay happy kids, stay happy!

Spring Break 2013

Hey kids! Happy Spring Break I hope everyone is having a great time! I am stuck in the rainy, cold, boring Provo, Utah. It hasn't been too bad though. Aside from missing all of my friends it's been pretty good! I am going to start with Easter weekend.

EASTER
We had some of our family in from Vegas and St. Geezy. There were 17 people sleeping in our house. It was absolutely crazy but never-the-less it was a good time. I love my family. On Saturday night we had a flashlight Easter egg hunt. We have been doing these for as long as I can remember! I was officially to old to do the hunt :( but it was still fun to help Drevin look for the Easter Bunny!  The Easter Bunny spoiled us this year! Me and my brothers all got shoes! I got sandals, Drevin got Nike's, Chase got Vans, and Brans got Converse. Sadly the Easter Bunny forgot my size of shoe, so I had to take them back for a pair that fit! My grandma and grandpa Jensen got me a new blue dress that I love.

MONDAY
My first official day of spring break was pretty laid back. My grandparents offered to pay me $30 to clean their house over the break and I was not about to turn that down. So while all of my friends spent their day's in California doing things in the warm I cleaned. Yup! Fun I know.

TUESDAY
I got to spend all day Tuesday with 2 of my favorite people, Amy and Drevin! The first part of the day I was babysitting the little guy. Drevin is amazing at every sport possible. He is 3, I am 15 and he makes me feel like a pile of dirt. But don't get me wrong he never fails to make me laugh he is always sure to let me know when I am doing something wrong. "

"Ky you do it like this." "No Ky that's not how you do it." "Kylee you suck at this."

I know, I know he is crazy. But I love him with everything I have. We were playing catch in the front yard and he threw the ball at an incoming car. It was so close to hitting it I almost died, thankfully it didn't but the car still slammed on its brakes. My heart sank right to my toes. The guy didn't get out of the car but I still had to get mad at Drev and put him in his room. This really sucked! I don't get med at the kid often but after I do I always want to go in his room and give him a big hug. Sitting on the couch hearing his cries, waiting for him to come out makes me want to cry. Thankfully at that time Amy came home to reinforce that he couldn't do stuff like that!
Later on us three went up to Salt Lake to shop! We went to DSW, Nordstrom Rack, and the Mall. We went there to see if I could find sandals I liked better, but we ended up getting more than that! We will just say all of us walked in the door with something new! After about 2 hours of shopping I was sure the world did't want me to find sandals. But Amy made me go in Forever Young Shoes to see what they had. I FOUND 2 PAIRS!
Oh and I went and saw one of my best friend's dog. His name is Grizzly and he did a fine job making me miss her more.

WEDNESDAY
Today was really good too! This morning I had the whole house to myself. And needless to say I didn't wake up until 11. It felt really good but it was a little long. Drevin got home from Pre-school around 12:30 and we went to my mom's house to hang out! We did sidewalk chalk and laughed a lot!!!

My Saturday....

Yesterday was a beyond crazy day! It started off with lunch at Joe Vera's with my mom and grandparents. Then we went on a 3 hour shopping spree to Sam's Club and Walmart. Not a good idea on a Saturday! After that we stopped and picked up Vanessa. My mom found these sun catchers on pinterest that my grandma fell in love with. She wanted to make them to hang in her tree in the back yard. We went to Hobby Lobby and the Bead fairy to get the supplies we needed.
This is what we were shooting for!

After we spent a good amount of time selecting beads we began to make them. It was extremely hard to get the heart shape to look right. But thankfully my grandpa was there to save the day. He made 7 hearts for us to 'bead'. For the most part the project was a success. We all laughed a lot, and only got frustrated a couple of times. We made 6 different colors and a multi-colored one. We did pink, purple, blue, green, red, and orange.
 Purple.
 Multi-colored circle.
 Pink.
 Blue.
 Red.
 Green.
 Multi-colored.
Orange.

They turned out really good! I made the pink and the green one. After we crafted our little hearts out we went and got some $5 pizza. On our way home we picked up Meg and Bailey. We ate our pizza and made our way over to the barn. When we got there we hung out down stairs for awhile and then went up stairs, curled up under blankets and watched The Life of Pi. The 30 minutes I saw of it were really weird. My mom came at about 9:30 to pick up Me, Bailey, Meg, and Chase. My mom is always out to make people laugh. We went around the round-about 3 times and I thought I was going to throw up. This is when my mom started heading in the opposite direction of their houses. Before we knew it we were on State Street, my mom stopped at a red light and asked if we were ready to do a Chinese fire drill.
If you don't know what that is don't feel to bad, we didn't either. She explained it to us, A Chinese fire drill is when everyone in the car gets out excluding the driver and runs around the car a couple of times while the driver honks the horn. We were all pretty excited and no one could stop laughing. At the first red light no one made it clear we were going to do it, but Bailey and Meg went right for it. My mom enjoyed laughing at the way we all ran. Bailey waved her arms, and chase ran around the car once too many every time. Me and meg,? Well we are perfect other than running the wrong way causing a couple of collisions.
It was a fun night and thanks to my mom I have a few ideas of what we can do when we can drive!!

My best friend is also my cousn. Vanessa and I have always been close! We know how to make eachother feel better. I decided to write about Vanessa today because yet again today she made me laugh. we have been hanging out a lot lately, our relationship is growing really strong. Everyday I go to lunch with Vanessa, Jenny, and Bailey. We have all become very close. Today was Vanessa's choice for lunch, and since it was taco Tuesday we went to Del Taco. On the way back to school Vanessa, Bailey, and I were walking in line and Jenny was a little ahead of us. Vanessa was telling us a story, I sped up a little because with three of us walking on the sidewalk was a little crowded. As I picked up my pace Vanessa stayed right at my side, so slowed down again and she was still right next to me. I couldnt tell if she was doint it on purpose, so I walked a little faster and she followed. This probably went on for a good two minutes before I realized she was not doing it on purpose, I burst out laughing. I explained to everyone what I had discovered and Vanessa was a little upset with me. She didn't talk to me for a good 5 minutes, and then she decided to love me again.

I don't know what I would do with myself if she wasn't there to make me laugh everyday. She is for sure my other half.
This is what it looks like when she gives me a 2 second warning for a picture, thank you Vanessa!
I could not figure out how to rotate this, but this is the little us!
This is what it looks like when I give Vanessa a 2 second picture warning, you welcome!
I can not wait for more summer nights with this girl!
I am not sure why she is crying in this picture, but I am guessing I made her laugh after this was taken.
And it doesn't get prettier than her. I love you Vanessa! Thank you for everything!!

A little taste of my life!

There is  much I could say about myself! I have always been a very outgoing person,  and am always on the look out for other people. I have been blessed with a truly amazing family. My mom Heather and my dad Eric are divorced. My dad is married to my wonderful step-mom Amy! I am the oldest of 3 brothers. Branson is 13, Chase is 12, and Drevin is 3.

I live with my dad,  step-mom, and my brothers. I love being with them all the time. Me and Chase also spend a lot of time with my mom. Some of my favorite things to do with my family are camping, boating, and just hanging out.

Well I would post pictures but I have absolutely no idea what I am doing. So pictures are soon to come
